Ranking among the world's largest royal palaces, the Royal Palace of Madrid serves as the current official residence of the Spanish Monarchy and holds deep ties to Madrid's origins. This visit starts at the Royal Armory Square, with views to the former hunting grounds of the royal family. As we enter through its main door we encounter the staircase, once used by 18th-century nobility and now by ambassadors, which will lead us to approximately 25 rooms adorned with stunning frescoes, sculptures, chandeliers, tapestries, furniture, ceramics, and royal family portraits. Original decorations which were chosen, acquired, and used by the monarchs. The same rooms where the Spanish royal family once resided, and which will reveal to us some extraordinary events and anecdotes concerning their lives and the history of Spain.
